Skin Treatments

What are the benefits of Skin Treatments?

Our skin treatments aim to boost the skin's natural rejuvenation by increasing the production of collagen, elastin fibres and stimulating cellular renewal.

The treatment improves the appearance and health of the skin by hydrating and plumping, often targeting concerns like wrinkles, fine lines, age spots, and uneven skin tone. These treatments aim to restore a youthful, radiant complexion.

At Ivy Adorn, we offer two types of regenerative skin treatments:  Hybrid skin boosters and PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma). We also offer two types of application methods for these treatments: Mesotherapy and Microneedling.

On this page, you can find information on each treatment and application method to make an informed choice for individual needs to achieve your desired results.

Hybrid skin booster or PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma)?

Our hybrid skin booster is an injectable hyaluronic acid based formula containing succinic acid, peptides, polynucleotides and tranexamic acid. It works as an internal hydrator for the skin. improving elasticity, firmness and radiance by boosting your bodies natural collagen production and stimulating the natural healing process. This treatment is highly recommended for clients looking to target skin issues such as; dehydration, lacklustre complexion, fine lines and sagging skin

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) as skin care treatment, is often referred to as the "vampire facial". It is a cosmetic procedure that uses a patient's own blood to rejuvenate the skin. It involves drawing a small amount of blood, separating the platelets and growth factors through centrifugation, and then reintroducing the platelet-rich plasma back into the skin to stimulate collagen production, improve skin texture and tone, and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and scars.

We add Biotin to platelets before reintroduction to the skin for additional barrier protection and hydration.

Mesotherapy or Microneedling?

Mesotherapy is a technique that uses small injections with a singular needle to distribute product to the lower layers of the skin.

By directly targeting deeper skin tissue, the product is injected where they are most needed. This is more beneficial than treatments that cannot penetrate the deeper levels of the skin and is a greater aid in long-term skin health. Mesotherapy provides cell rejuvenation, hydration and nourishment on a deeper level.

This application method is good for clients wishing to target:

  • Deep hydration
  • Skin plumping
  • Pigmentation
  • Loose skin
  • Deeper wrinkles

As a minimally invasive treatment, clients can expect minimal downtime. Slight bruising can develop at injection sites.

Microneedling is a technique that uses a device equipped with multiple fine needles to penetrate the outer layers of the skin, thereby creating a controlled injury that promotes skin cell regeneration. This process prompts a rapid healing response which stimulates the production of collagen and elastin fibres.

This application method is good for clients wishing to target:

  • Fine lines
  • Scars
  • Stretch marks
  • Hydration

As a minimally invasive treatment, clients can expect minimal downtime and ease of tolerance due to the superficial penetration.
